Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care, acting as a patient advocate and maintaining the sterile field.
• Assist with total joints, multi-level spine fusions, and robotic cases, including GYN, colorectal, and general surgeries.
• Function as a circulator with experience in managing sterile integrity and resource allocation.
• Participate in on-call duties, typically 5-6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift every eight weeks.
• Work collaboratively with other OR staff, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
• Utilize EMR systems, specifically Epic, to document patient care activities efficiently.

Qualifications

• Current Alaska RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Experience in circulating within an operating room environment is essential.
• Ability to act as a patient advocate and resource within the sterile field.
• Preferred CNOR certification and experience as a scrub nurse.
• Positive outlook and willingness to work collaboratively with team members.
