Cath Lab Technologist

The Cardiovascular/Interventional Laboratory provides a range of services that include:

• Cardiac catheterization
• Angiography
• Peripheral angioplasty with or without stent placement
• Venography
• Cardiac pacemaker insertions
• A variety of non-vascular interventional procedures

Both inpatient and one-day outpatient services are available. The role involves flexibility in scheduling, with shifts that can include:

• Five 8-hour shifts
• Four 10-hour shifts
• Two 8-hour shifts combined with two 12-hour shifts

Scheduled hours will range from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM based on the needs of the department. Weekend and on-call requirements include:

• 8-12 on-call days per month
• One full weekend of on-call duties every month

Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

• Two years of catheterization lab experience (required)
• Current certifications in BLS (AHA), RCIS, and ACLS (AHA)
