We're seeking an experienced Design Field Coordinator to support a large-scale advanced manufacturing project. This role bridges the gap between engineering, BIM/VDC, and construction by ensuring design packages are coordinated, constructible, and ready for field execution.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong Revit background who enjoys working directly with design teams, field personnel, and construction leadership to solve problems before they impact installation.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate between engineering, BIM/VDC teams, and field construction personnel to ensure projects are field-ready.
- Review design packages and Revit models for constructability, coordination, and installation readiness.
- Support multidisciplinary coordination throughout design and construction.
- Resolve design conflicts and coordinate solutions before they impact field operations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for field design questions and technical clarifications.
- Provide advanced Revit support for project teams, including troubleshooting models, worksets, families, views, and project standards.
- Assist with complex modeling challenges and support project-wide BIM standards.
- Develop and maintain Revit templates, standards, and best practices.
- Capture field lessons learned and incorporate improvements into future project standards.
- Train and mentor project teams on Revit workflows and modeling best practices.
- Support continuous improvement efforts that reduce RFIs, improve constructability, and minimize rework.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in BIM, VDC, Design Coordination, or advanced Revit roles.
- Expert-level proficiency with Autodesk Revit.
- Strong understanding of multidisciplinary building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, and architectural coordination.
- Experience supporting construction teams with design coordination and constructability reviews.
- Strong understanding of BIM workflows, model organization, standards, and quality control.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively between design offices and active construction sites.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex Revit modeling issues and provide technical guidance to project teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Semiconductor, cleanroom, advanced manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, mission-critical, or industrial construction experience.
- Experience supporting large EPC, EPCM, or Design-Build projects.
- Familiarity with Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360, and Bluebeam.
- Experience working directly with field construction teams during active projects.
- Previous experience developing BIM standards, templates, and project workflows.
What You'll Bring
- Strong technical leadership with a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to identify design issues before they become construction issues.
- Passion for improving project quality, constructability, and field execution.
- A proactive approach to mentoring teams and continuously improving BIM processes.
If you're an experienced Revit professional who enjoys solving complex coordination challenges and supporting world-class construction projects, we'd like to hear from you.
