Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, with a focus on GM vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a passion for automotive service, ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety. Candidates will be ASE Certified with factory trained GMC experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics on vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
• Conduct repairs specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Utilize schematics to align and transmit vehicle systems effectively.
• Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in auto estimating and automotive service practices.
• Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and engine repair.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
• ASE Certification and experience working with GM vehicles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
• A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications are a plus.
• At least 2 years’ experience as an automotive technician.
