Shift Details: 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A

Shift/Workdays: 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A Weekend: Rotating

Call Requirements: No

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hrs.

Special Skills/Experience Required:

• 2 Years + experience
• At least 5+ years of Experience
• Med-Surg/Tele RN experience
• Oncology experience required
• Experience with Mediports/Piccs/Central Lines

Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed:

• Chemotherapy Certification preferred
• Meditech experience preferred

Specialty/Unit Certifications Required:

• Active TX RN License

Procedures performed on unit:

• Chemotherapy administration
• CHG Baths, including the central lines and dressings
• Central line, mediport access and lab draws
• Blood product transfusions

Dress Code:

Scrub Color: Navy scrubs

Nail Policy: Clean and Healthy

Hair: Hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed

Tattoos: Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually

Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears, is prohibited

• Floating Guidelines
• Methodist Acknowledgement Form
• Attendance Policies
• Central line dressing changes
• Follow all protocols for temperature, chemo, etc
