Overview

Dental Hygienist

Location: Waterbury, CT

Compensation: $49-$67/hour plus production incentives

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to all patients
• Conduct scaling, prophylaxis, x-rays, sealants, fluoride treatments, and other procedures under the supervision of a general dentist
• Deliver same-day care whenever feasible to enhance customer satisfaction
• Educate patients and their families about oral hygiene practices
• Evaluate dental conditions and needs, reviewing patients' medical histories
• Guide patients and their families through the entire treatment process
• Assist with dental and periodontal charting as required
• Take and organize x-rays in patient files as necessary
• Adhere to all regulatory requirements and organizational standards

• Valid state Dental Hygienist license
• CPR/BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, including a hands-on skills assessment (mandatory at the time of hiring)
