About the Position

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro/Surgical Telemetry – Tennessee

Start Date: November 9, 2026

Location: Jackson, Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM. Three weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule. Holiday availability required. No on-call requirements.

Highlights:

• Neuro/Surgical Telemetry floor with a 31-bed unit and diverse patient population
• Patient ratio of 4-5 patients across all shifts
• Epic EMR system in use; recent experience required within the last 18 months
• Floating to other Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units or low-acuity ICU as needed
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, lift teams, and rapid response teams
• 36 hours of orientation provided; local candidates and first-time travelers welcome

Requirements:

• Active Tennessee or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience required; 2 years preferred
• Epic charting experience within the last 18 months is mandatory and must be clearly documented
• Travel nursing experience preferred but not required
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Two supervisory references required
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only); Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
