Senior Process EngineerWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Engineer who will be part of the process engineering team responsible for the design of the dairy processing portion of our New Berlin, NY plant. These roles require a deep understanding of dairy processing unit operations, equipment, dairy manufacturing technologies, etc. Experience in both design as well as start-up and operational support is preferred.Responsibilities:Process Design and Development: Part of the team of process engineers designing the dairy processing operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulationsCollaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Capital project managers, Operations, Quality, etc to ensure seamless integration of process engineering solutionsRisk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with process engineering projects, ensuring safety and reliabilityDocumentation: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of process designs, specifications, and project progressStakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodiesTravel: Occasional travel to equipment vendors and other Chobani sitesRequirements:Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, or a related fieldExperience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in process engineering. Experience in hygienic process design, specific experience with cultured dairy products and aseptic processing is a plus. Understanding of PLC and logic controls for manufacturing equipment is preferredTechnical Skills: Proficiency in process simulation software, CAD tools, and other relevant engineering applicationsProblem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to technical challengesCommunication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiencesLeadership: Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including team management, mentorship, and conflict resolutionAttention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of workAdaptability: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneouslyAbout Us:Chobani is a food maker with a mission of making high-quality and nutritious food accessible to more people, while elevating our communities and making the world a healthier place. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
