**Exciting Opportunity for a HI-CVU RN - Varied Shift!** **Job Description:** - Join a dynamic team in a Progressive Care Unit with a 15 bed capacity, including: - 3 Step down ICU beds - 12 Telemetry beds - Patient Ratios: - 1:4 for Progressive Care - 1:3 for Step down ICU - Shift Details: - Schedule: 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation - No guarantee of hours - No on-call duties - Key Responsibilities: - Provide primary nursing care - Monitor telemetry and read telemetry strips - Perform fingerstick blood sugar tests - Equipment Utilized: - Meditech charting - Pyxis for medication dispensing - BIPAP - Continuous cardiac monitoring - Required Skills & Experience: - Minimum of 1 year of hospital acute care experience within the last year - Preferred experience in Progressive Care and telemetry - Certifications/Qualifications: - ACLS (preferred) - Current PALS (preferred) - NIHSS certification (preferred) - Additional Information: - Floating to other acute units (Medical, Surgical/Peds, ICU, and ER) may be required - Dress Code: Scrubs **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
