Product Operations SpecialistAustin, TX; RemoteAbout This PositionWe are looking for a detail-obsessed Product Operations Specialist to help keep our course launch process running smoothly, our existing courses in compliance, and our catalog well maintained. You'll be the person triaging bugs, chasing them down to resolution, and making sure the right team knows about any follow ups, recurring issues, and emerging trends. If you enjoy operational puzzles, improving workflows, and collaborating across teams to keep things running smoothly, this is the role for you.Our ideal candidate is a methodical troubleshooter who loves clear processes, is comfortable when ownership of a problem isn't obvious yet, and takes pride in getting the details exactly right. Reporting to the Sr Manager, Automation, you'll partner closely with Customer Experience, Learning Experience, Regulatory, and Product to keep our products and courses healthy.What You'll DoResolve day-to-day operational issues and regulatory requests across our product portfolio, applying established processes and using judgment to determine the right course of action, escalating when neededIntake and triage incoming bugs and requests from stakeholders, scoping them clearly for Product/Engineering, getting clarity on priority and estimated resolution time, and following up with the relevant stakeholders to keep them in the loopBuild expertise in our products and processes so cross-functional partners know they can rely on you for day-to-day operational questionsSupport the launch of new courses and products, including proprietary LMS configuration tasks configuration tasks and related requestsPartner with the Regulatory team on course requirements and updates, making the updates you can directly and routing anything that needs Development or Product Management supportKeep the existing course catalog healthy through ongoing content and configuration maintenance, making sure updates land accurately across every affected courseMonitor product and course metrics, investigating unexpected trends, summarizing findings, and partnering with stakeholders to determine next stepsSpot repetitive tasks in your own workflows and automate them using AI tools like Claude Code or Codex, building on existing team repos and tools already in productionWhat You'll Need2+ years experience in product operations, program/project coordination, support, or a similar analytical roleExceptional attention to detail and strong follow-through; you chase problems to resolution rather than handing them offAbility to communicate clearly and build productive cross-functional working relationships, including comfort navigating gray areas where ownership isn't yet definedCuriosity and an investigative mindset; you naturally ask "why," enjoy untangling operational problems, and persist until you find the underlying issueAbility to work through ambiguity independently, prioritize competing requests effectively, and know when to bring something to your managerSystems-minded — you enjoy learning new systems, can trace how information flows between tools, and are comfortable troubleshooting technical issues even if you aren't writing code.A builder's instinct; you've used AI to automate parts of your own work, and you'd rather build a fix than wait for oneReside in one of the following locations: California, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Texas, Utah, and Washington.Bonus PointsExperience in Edtech or another regulated industryExperience with reporting on JIRA issuesExperience with content management or learning management systemsBackground in an education-related fieldAbout AceableAceable is a mobile education platform designed to create affordable, engaging, and convenient online courses available across mobile devices.
