Painter - Full Time - Harrah's Gulf Coast

Job Summary

Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Must have a minimum of five years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of (5) years as a master painter preferred.

Essential Job Functions:

• Performs preparatory procedures on assigned projects and organizes time to assure all proper steps are taken to complete the project on time and in accordance with work order.
• Paints in accordance with work orders.
• Maintains an adequate supply of all materials, supplies, and equipment necessary for the efficient completion of job responsibilities.
• Ensures all safety requirements are observed and met.
• Hangs wallpaper.
• Performs basic sheetrock preparation, including taping, floating, and basic finishing.

Physical, Mental And Environmental Demands: Must be able to maneuver around all areas of the casino. Must be able to regularly climb and work from a twelve (12) foot ladder. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
