In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of database administration, including patching, performance tuning, capacity planning, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery (DR) testing. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams and clients to ensure optimal database performance and security, while also contributing to data modeling, integration efforts, and change management processes. This position requires hands-on experience with PostgreSQL (on-prem), and a strong understanding of Postgres, Oracle, and MongoDB environments. You will play a key role in supporting the transition from Oracle to Postgres, ensuring data integrity, security, and high availability. The ideal candidate will bring leadership, mentorship, and technical expertise to help streamline operations and support enterprise-scale applications in a healthcare or HIPAA-regulated environment.
