Compensation Analyst

Overview Compensation Analyst role in Human Resources. We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Compensation Analyst to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you will support the design, administration, and analysis of compensation programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal compensation policies. The ideal candidate has experience in compensation analysis within the banking or financial services industry and enjoys using data to support strategic business decisions. Location: Hybrid or On-site Industry: Banking / Financial Services Salary: $90,000–$120,000 annually (based on experience) Employment Type: Full-Time Responsibilities Analyze internal and external compensation data to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices. Conduct market pricing for new and existing positions using salary surveys and industry benchmarks. Support annual salary planning, merit increases, incentive programs, and bonus administration. Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders on compensation recommendations and job evaluations. Maintain job descriptions, salary structures, and compensation documentation. Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local wage and hour regulations. Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership using HRIS and compensation data. Participate in compensation-related projects, audits, and process improvements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. 3–7 years of compensation analysis experience, preferably within banking or financial services. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, Oracle, ADP, or UKG is preferred. Knowledge of compensation principles, market pricing methodologies, and regulatory compliance. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
