Technical Project ManagerGenesis10 is currently seeking a Technical Project Manager for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.This role supports the infrastructure delivery needs for key lines of business in a Delivery Lead (Technical Project Manager) capacity. The ideal candidate will have strong Agile capabilities and will serve as the point of contact for monitoring, with a strong focus on Splunk implementations. The position involves working independently to provide leadership and strategic direction on all information technology issues.Responsibilities:Lead a large project or multiple projects that are significant in scope and impactSupport the infrastructure delivery needs of key lines of businessWork independently, with limited direction, and be evaluated through end resultsInitiate and provide leadership, strategic/tactical direction, and planning input on all information technology and client/business area issuesParticipate with IT management in the development of technology products, service standards, and development efforts that impact the business areaServe as a single point of contact and the escalation point between the business area and internal IT management for the resolution of unresolved problems, complaints, and complex service requestsRequirements:5-7 years of experience in an Infrastructure Delivery Technology environmentStrong focus and experience with Splunk implementationsAbility to multi-task, as well as being flexible to assist team members as neededExcellent communication skills (verbal & written) for all levels in the organizationExcellent organizational skills and the ability to lead complex projects and/or programsProficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and OutlookPMP certifiedMust be able to develop and manage project plans and budgetsMust be able to manage risks and issues in a complex technical environmentMust have a working knowledge of infrastructure systems and solutions utilized within a large enterpriseMust have experience successfully delivering infrastructure technology projectsDesired Skills:Previous Delivery Lead experienceGeneral knowledge of business operations, applications, and strategy in the financial sectorPay range: $52.54 - $60.54 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.Ranked a Top Staffing Firm in the U.S. by Staffing Industry Analysts for six consecutive years, Genesis10 puts thousands of consultants and employees to work across the United States every year in contract, contract-for-hire, and permanent placement roles.
