Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active SLPA license or certification for California
• Experience supporting speech-language therapy in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to efficiently follow treatment plans designed by a supervising SLP
• Compassionate, patient, and invested in supporting children’s development
• Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in delivering speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Work directly with students in group and/or individual settings as directed
• Implement activities and exercises to address articulation, language, and communication goals
• Document session notes and communicate progress to supervising SLP
• Collaborate with teachers and families to support generalization of skills within classrooms
• Participate in training, meetings, and ongoing professional development as needed
