Maintenance Engineer Technician - 2nd Shift

Supports production by minimizing downtime, performing equipment installations, and contributing to continuous improvement.Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic, and automated systems. Use PLCs, ladder logic, and HMIs for fault resolution.Automation Support: Maintain and support automated production equipment including robotics, conveyors, sensors, actuators, and control systems.Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Execute scheduled maintenance on heading, threading, painting, packaging, and automation equipment.Equipment Installation & Upgrades: Assist with setup, installation, commissioning, and improvement of equipment using schematics and technical manuals.Machine Setup & Changeover: Support alignment and tooling adjustments during changeovers. Provide operator support during runs.Facility & Utility Maintenance: Maintain air compressors, lighting, water systems, and perform facility inspections.Documentation: Accurately complete work orders, downtime logs, and maintenance records. Communicate repair timelines with production leads.Inventory Management: Track usage of tools and parts; request reorders to avoid downtime.Collaboration: Work with production, engineering, and quality teams. Train operators in basic troubleshooting and equipment care.Continuous Improvement: Participate in root cause analysis and support equipment performance enhancements.Safety & Compliance: Follow OSHA standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and company safety policies.
