Job Title Skilled Laborer (Cleaning) Location Dahlonega, GA Shifts 1st and 2nd Starting Rate $16/hr MAJOR PURPOSE OF THIS JOB Clean aluminum dock parts and support platform work in the Cleaning Department. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Material Cleaner: clean aluminum dock parts by brushing and wiping them down with glass cleaner. Platforms: use power tools to work on platforms and decking frames. Lift, move, and stage aluminum parts before and after cleaning. Inspect parts and double-check work before it moves to the next step. Keep the work area safe and clean by following procedures, rules, and regulations. Use equipment and materials efficiently to keep waste down. Communicate professionally with supervisors and co-workers. Support the team by taking on related work as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. WORKING CONDITIONS Production environment with risk of injury. Safety equipment must be worn. Standing, bending, and repetitive arm motion for most of the shift. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS Material Cleaner: No experience required. Must be able to handle steady, repetitive physical work. Experience with power tools preferred. Experience in a manufacturing or construction setting is preferred. High school diploma or GED preferred.
