In this role, you will provide specialized respiratory care to residents with pulmonary disorders and respiratory conditions while working alongside an interdisciplinary team committed to delivering exceptional, resident-centered care.If you're passionate about improving quality of life through expert respiratory therapy and enjoy working in a supportive healthcare environment, we'd love to hear from you.Position SummaryThe Respiratory Therapist is responsible for assessing, treating, and monitoring residents with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions. This position plays a key role in providing therapeutic interventions, pulmonary rehabilitation, diagnostic evaluations, and ongoing respiratory care in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.What You'll DoAssess residents to identify respiratory care needs and develop individualized treatment plans.Administer respiratory treatments, oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other prescribed pulmonary interventions.Monitor residents for changes in respiratory status and promptly communicate concerns to physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.Perform respiratory assessments and document findings accurately and thoroughly.Assist with pulmonary rehabilitation and patient education when appropriate.Operate, monitor, and maintain respiratory therapy equipment while ensuring proper infection control practices.Respond appropriately to respiratory emergencies and provide critical respiratory support as needed.Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation, dietary, social services, and other departments to provide coordinated resident care.Follow all federal, state, and facility policies related to respiratory care, infection prevention, resident safety, and HIPAA compliance.Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all treatments and resident responses.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive team environment.QualificationsCurrent Respiratory Therapist (RT) license or certification in good standing, as required by California regulations.Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.Previous experience in skilled nursing, sub-acute care, long-term care, or acute care is preferred.Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.Knowledge of respiratory equipment, infection control standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.Why Join All Saints Sub Acute & Nursing?Competitive pay: $47.00–$48.00 per hour DOEFlexible part-time scheduleSupportive and collaborative clinical teamOpportunities for professional growth and continuing educationRewarding work caring for residents with complex respiratory needsPositive workplace culture focused on compassion, teamwork, and excellenceApply Today!Join the team at All Saints Sub Acute & Nursing and make a meaningful impact by helping residents breathe easier and live healthier every day.
