Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Nurse Educator

Requirements:

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in nursing (Experience and National certifications may be considered in place of the bachelor's degree upon approval, with a commitment to obtain a bachelor's degree within 3 years of hire)
Current RN license
Healthcare Provider (HCP) CPR, CNOR, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
Minimum of 5 years of hospital nursing experience
3 years of OR experience required
Proficiency in word processing and internet use
Ability to type a minimum speed of 45 WPM accurately

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide education and instruction focused on clinical staff within a healthcare facility
Act as a resource regarding healthcare education and training programs
Support the development of education in collaboration with department managers and clinical nurse coordinators
Utilize simulation training and software for educational purposes
Work closely with the Quality Management team to promote continuous improvement across the system
Evaluate educational programs and participant learning, implementing changes as needed
Maintain patient confidentiality and handle information appropriately
Foster a sense of teamwork and cooperation among staff through effective communication and support
