GEUS Customer Service Representative I

FUNCTION

Assist residential and commercial customers with new and existing utility and Fusion services. Assist customers with transfers, disconnections, billing problems, and Fusion troubleshooting.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Records, maintains, and files all utility and Fusion transactions. Assist residential and commercial customers with new utility and Fusion services, transfers, and disconnections in person and on the phone. Assists customers with billing inquiries. Multi-tasking, able to work under stress, and ability to get along with other employees. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential job functions. Performs other duties as assigned. The primary responsibilities only include essential functions of the job and does not imply that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position. Employees will be required to follow any other job-related instruction and to perform any other job-related duties requested by supervisor or management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

High school diploma or equivalent plus some course work or computer training beyond high school. 1-2 years’ related experience in office environment, preferably including some customer contact. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software. Tyler Technology Incode software knowledge a plus. Bi-lingual ability a plus.
