About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join their executive leadership team. The COO will be a strategic partner to the CEO, responsible for translating the company's vision into operational execution and overseeing the core functions of the business, including sales, rental, service, parts, logistics, and fleet management. The successful candidate will be tasked with driving operational excellence, implementing scalable processes and systems, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure profitability, efficiency, and sustainable growth. Key responsibilities for the COO include strategic leadership, process improvement, team leadership, operations management, data-driven decision-making, asset and inventory management, financial stewardship, and support for strategic growth initiatives. Applicants for the COO position at the company should have a minimum of 10-15 years' of progressive leadership experience in heavy equipment, construction machinery, or industrial distribution environments. A Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field is required, with an MBA strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of dealership operations, including rental fleets, depreciation strategies, and regulatory compliance. They must demonstrate a proven track record in leading multidisciplinary teams, possess exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and have a hands-on yet strategic leadership style. Strong financial and operational analytics skills, as well as a history of data-driven improvement initiatives, are essential for this role.
