Counter Sales Specialist (Flooring Supply) Location: West Palm Beach, FL 33409

Type: Full-Time, Contract-to-Hire

Hours: Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (No weekends!)

Pay: $20.00 – $20.01 / hour

About the Role A leading flooring supply company is hiring an experienced Counter Sales Specialist. In this role, you will support local contractors, process orders, and provide expert guidance on top industry brands (Schluter®, TEC®, Tarkett, etc.).

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Provide expert product advice on flooring supplies, tools, and accessories to contractors and DIYers.

• Order Processing: Handle quotes, check stock, and process payments/invoices accurately through the POS system.

• Teamwork: Coordinate closely with the warehouse team for seamless order fulfillment.

• Showroom Appeal: Maintain a clean, organized, and fully-stocked counter area.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2+ years in retail/counter sales, sales support, or hands-on flooring installation.

• Industry Knowledge: Experience with flooring, tile, or construction materials is highly preferred.

• Skills: strong communication, basic computer literacy, and excellent customer service.

• Reliability: Dependable team player ready for a consistent 7:00 AM start.
