RN - Emergency Room

Job Title: RN - Emergency Room Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Nursing Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 11.5 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience required. License: Active nursing license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (Mandatory). Must-Have: - Ventilator experience - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Good written and verbal communication skills - Willingness to float to ICU and Medical Surgical units

Description: Assess patients' clinical conditions, recognizing and interpreting serious situations. Prioritize and take immediate action in emergencies when a physician is not available. Operate and monitor emergency care equipment such as infusion pumps, pulse oximeters, ventilators, and cardiac monitors. Administer prescribed therapeutic measures including medications, IV therapy, and respiratory therapy. Record observations, nursing interventions, and therapeutic measures administered. Document specific health care requirements and assign tasks to team members based on their skills. Plan and develop patient care delivery and coordinate care documentation. Share responsibilities for sustaining adequate supplies and equipment on the unit. Ensure general upkeep of the unit and maintain a safe environment.
