Reasonable accommodations may be made to help enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Essential Functions Statement(s)Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using mechanical dishwasher or by hand, following health and safety standards.Handle and operate dishwashing equipment and cleaning agents safely and correctly; set up and break down dish machine at the beginning and end of shift.Stock supplies such as dishes, pans, and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, and refrigerators as well as stock the necessary items on the Cooks' Line.Properly dispose of trash and recyclables and place it in designated pickup areas, clean garbage cans using designated cleaning supplies, sweep floors, and pull mats as needed to maintain cleanliness and prevent hazards.Follow proper handling and storage procedures for all cleaning chemicals and sanitizers; use appropriate PPE as required.Handle all dishware, cookware, and kitchen tools with care, minimizing breakage and reporting damage or equipment issues to management immediately.Notify managers of need for major repairs.Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety protocols to maintain a safe and healthy kitchen environment.Perform other related duties as assigned by management to support operational needs.Report for work on time and uphold expectations for attendance, uniform, and professional conduct.Regular attendance is an essential function of this job.QualificationsPosition QualificationsCompetency Statement(s)Customer Oriented - Ability to take care of the customers' needs while following company procedures.Working Under Pressure - Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations.Safety Awareness - Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety.Active Listening - Ability to actively attend to, convey, and understand the comments and questions of others.Communication - Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, guests, and management to ensure all needs are met.Response to Direction - Receive and follow directions from supervisors; follow direction of computer generated tickets.Teamwork Abilities - Ability to work together with a team in a positive manner to achieve a common goal.Friendly - Ability to exhibit a cheerful demeanor toward others.Neat & Well Groomed - Neat & Well GroomedSkills & AbilitiesExperience:No experience necessary, but six months to one year of related experience is preferred.Certifications & Licenses:Must take and pass all tests 85% and higher.
