Contract Recruiter

Our client is seeking an experienced Contract Recruiter to support full-cycle recruiting across a diverse portfolio of corporate and operational functions throughout North America, including Canada. This role will partner closely with HR Business Partners and business leaders to manage recruiting efforts for IT, Finance, Marketing, Sales, while also providing recruiting support for manufacturing and operations positions as hiring volume fluctuates. The ideal candidate is a proactive talent acquisition professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at identifying passive candidates, and knows how to build talent pipelines without relying heavily on external agencies. Experience working in a staffing agency environment and managing apprenticeship, internship, or workforce development programs is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition intake through offer acceptance and pre-employment activities. Partner with HR Business Partners and hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop recruiting strategies. Support hiring across corporate functions including IT, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Technical Service, and business-specific divisions. Assist with manufacturing and operations recruiting across multiple locations throughout North America and Canada as hiring demands require. Maintain an average requisition load of approximately 20 open positions. Proactively source passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, referrals, talent communities, and direct outreach. Build and maintain talent pipelines for hard-to-fill and future hiring needs. Conduct intake meetings, candidate screenings, interview coordination, offer management, and candidate communication. Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process. Collaborate with HR teams to ensure a seamless transition to onboarding once a candidate accepts an offer. Track recruiting activity, pipeline metrics, and hiring progress within the applicant tracking system. Support apprenticeship, internship, and workforce development programs, including sourcing, program coordination, partnership management, and candidate engagement. Qualifications At least 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience required. Prior staffing agency recruiting experience strongly preferred. Experience recruiting for corporate, professional, technical, and operational positions. Demonstrated success sourcing passive candidates and building talent pipelines. Experience managing apprenticeship programs, internship programs, or workforce development initiatives preferred. Strong interviewing, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and requisitions simultaneously. Experience supporting hiring across multiple locations and business units. Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and sourcing tools. Strong communication and organizational skills. Preferred Profile Self-directed recruiter who takes ownership of searches and drives results. Comfortable operating with minimal agency support and a strong emphasis on direct sourcing. Strategic yet hands-on recruiting approach. Ability to build credibility with business leaders and hiring managers.
