New graduate nurses are encouraged to apply. Job Description: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for assigned critical care patients Provide routine and complex nursing care in a fast-paced acute care environment Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established clinical protocols Closely monitor patient conditions, recognize significant changes, and respond appropriately to emergencies Evaluate the effectiveness of treatments and monitor patients for potential side effects Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, treatments, and care provided Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families Educate patients, family members, and caregivers regarding treatment plans, medications, and available resources Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and other members of the multidisciplinary clinical team Make appropriate assignments and delegate responsibilities to other care providers Complete required nursing orientation, Critical Care Department competency validation, and annual competency requirements Qualifications: Active Texas RN license or multistate compact RN license Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred One year of critical care nursing experience preferred New graduate Registered Nurses will be considered Current BLS certification required at the time of hire ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire for experienced nurses or within 90 days for new graduates and nurses new to the specialty Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and patient care skills Schedule: Full time 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Interested in hearing more?
