Industrial Electrician – Oil & Gas / Refinery - NM Journeyman License required

Location: New Mexico
Duration: 6-Month Project
Schedule: 60 Hours per Week

Compensation Options:

• $47.00/hour + $125.00 Per Diem

We are seeking a  Licensed Journeyman Industrial Electrician with oil & gas or refinery experience for a 6-month, high-hour industrial project in New Mexico. This role requires strong field installation capabilities in hazardous environments.

Mandatory Requirements

• Active New Mexico Journeyman Electrician License (REQUIRED – no exceptions)
• Minimum 3+ years of industrial electrical experience
• Proven background in  oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, or heavy industrial facilities
• Conduit installation experience (RMC/IMC/EMT)
• Threading experience (manual and power threading equipment)
• Experience bending rigid conduit
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, one-lines, and P&IDs
• Experience working with:
• • MCCs
  • VFDs
  • Motor controls
  • PLC troubleshooting
  • 480V–13.8kV systems
  • Knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E
    
     
    This is a high-overtime, long-term opportunity for licensed industrial electricians with strong conduit and refinery experience.
