John Jensen State Farm is Waunakee's highly rated insurance agency (4.9 on Google and voted Favorite Insurance Agency three years running). We're looking for a friendly, organized professional to become the first impression of our office. While you'll greet customers, answer phones, and keep things running smoothly, this role is much more than sitting behind a front desk. You'll build relationships with customers, solve problems, and become a trusted resource for people during some of life's biggest moments. If you enjoy working with people, learning new things, and being part of a close-knit team, we'd like to meet you.

What You'll Do

• Welcome customers in person and over the phone with professionalism and warmth.
• Answer questions, schedule appointments, and direct customers to the right team member.
• Assist customers with policy changes, billing questions, claims support, and general service needs.
• Process policy updates accurately and maintain detailed customer records.
• Build lasting relationships by getting to know our customers and providing outstanding service.
• Recognize when customers may benefit from reviewing their insurance and help connect them with the appropriate team member.
• Help keep the office organized and ensure every customer has an exceptional experience.

What We're Looking For

Insurance experience isn't required. We're looking for someone who naturally enjoys working with people and takes pride in creating a great customer experience.

Customer service, hospitality, retail, banking, or other people-focused experience is a plus.

Training & Career Development

We'll provide comprehensive training and pay for your Wisconsin Property & Casualty, Life, and Health insurance licensing, including exam and course costs upon successful completion. As your knowledge and confidence grow, you'll have opportunities to expand your responsibilities, continue developing professionally, and build a long-term career within our agency. Compensation & Benefits

• Starting salary of $40,000
• Performance-based commissions and bonus opportunities

Compensation: $20.00 per hour
