JOB TITLE : Acquisition Support Analyst I
LOCATION : Alexandria, VA
SUPPORTING : Department of Defense Human Resources Activity, Computer/Electronic Accommodations Program (CAP)
JOB CATEGORY : Full-Time
SECURITY CLEARANCE : Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.
WORK MODEL : Currently fully remote. However, this position requires availability to work onsite at the client site in Alexandria, VA up to 5 days a week if and when the client circumstances require it.
COMPENSATION : At Patrona Corporation, salaries are determined by various factors, including location, an individual’s unique combination of education, skills, knowledge, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational needs. The salary range or hourly rate provided reflects the typical range for this position and represents just one part of Patrona Corporation’s comprehensive total compensation package.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
- 3 years of financial analysis, purchasing, and customer service experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field is required.
- Knowledge of DAR/FAR and other applicable government regulations is required.
- Proficiency in budgeting, auditing, forecasting, and financial analysis is required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Perform financial functions activities such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting, and analysis.
- Provide support in the procurement cycle of the AT accommodations, from building orders, allocating them to vendors, gathering the documentation to support the orders, placing the orders, following up with the customers for receipt and invoicing the orders.
- Assist in developing an Acquisitions Deskside Guide as processes evolve.
- Run ad-hoc reports for the client when required.
- Liaise with customers and vendors to mitigate procurement cycle issues.
- Complete broad-scope financial responsibilities to support organizational goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and government regulations, including Defense Acquisition Regulations (DAR) and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
- Interface with government auditors to support audits, providing accurate financial data and explanations of methodology.
- Receive procurement requests and analyze requirements to determine appropriate solutions.
- Conduct market research, define the procurement approach, identify qualified vendors, assess risks, and solicit proposals from vendors to determine the most effective option.
- Procure items, manage inventory, and resolve supply chain issues.
- Communicate acquisition status to relevant stakeholders and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
- Review activities and data to identify opportunities for enhancing acquisition operations and improving customer service.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by leadership.
The CAP procurement process is unique to CAP. You must be willing to learn the multi-layered aspects of the procurement cycle to include ordering the Assistive Technology on Amazon.

- Experience with the DoD and its stakeholders is preferred.
- Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills is required.
- Highly proficient using MS Office Suite applications is required.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and changing priorities is required.
- Effective problem-solving skills, especially in addressing customer concerns is required.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn is required.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively is required.
