Job Opportunity Shift Details Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (06:00 - 16:30) Job Description We are seeking a certified professional with experience in processing and sterilizing instruments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a leadership role within the sterile processing department. Requirements
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD)
- Lead Technician experience required
- Certification in Sterile Processing Department (SPD)
- Interview availability is mandatory
- Minimum of 1.5 years of continuous experience in the specialty
- No breaks in employment unless for minimal pre-approved vacations or between assignments
- Experience with EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner system within the last 6 months
- Preferred candidates will have prior charge or supervisory experience
- Must be willing to float at or below skillset to meet departmental needs
- All certifications must be valid and included in submission
- California nursing license in hand at the time of submission (Temporary or Permanent)
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (medical and religious exemptions only)
- Flu vaccine status is currently unknown
- Experience in community hospital settings preferred
- Previous experience in Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) or Trauma Level I and II would be beneficial
- Familiarity with varying patient age groups
