Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years recent high volume Labor Delivery experience License: Active RN license, verification must be less than 30 days old Certifications: Active American Heart Association ACLS certification, Active American Heart Association BLS certification, Active Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification, Active NIH Stroke Scale/Score (NIHSS) certification, NRP certification Must-Have: Candidate must be willing to complete a 48-hour compliance process if offered. Candidate must be willing to obtain EFM Certification within 48 hours if offered. Candidate must be willing to obtain NIHSS Certification within 48 hours if offered. COVID vaccination is required; declinations will not be accepted. Candidates with scheduling restrictions will not be accepted; must be willing to work the facility schedule. Locals are accepted. Description: This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies. This position adheres to standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide, and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
