Shuttle Driver Responsible for transporting guests to and/or from the hotel, hospital, casino, and local area in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner, using safe driving practices. In addition, assists guests with luggage and maintains vehicle logs. Job Details Compensation Hourly base pay range: $26.00–$29.00 per hour. Work Schedule Shifts available: AM, PM, Overnight, Weekend. Responsibilities Shuttle guests to appropriate locations approved by manager and client contact; must learn, remember pick‑up and destination points, and have knowledge of property outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, main attractions, parking rates, etc. (40%) Communicate via telephone, two‑way radio, and in person in courteous, friendly, professional manner with all guests, location staff, and co‑workers; greet guests within 30 seconds, use proper salutation, maintain professionalism (20%) Operate a vehicle that seats 16 or more; inspect vehicle each shift for proper functioning; monitor condition, record malfunctions, and submit reports (20%) Protect guest confidentiality, maintain security of client financial and identifying information; provide assistance but not lifting services; check and clean wheelchairs; assist passengers with entering/exiting vehicle; may use specialized equipment such as wheelchair lifts (20%) Qualifications Education High school diploma or GED. Licensure and Certifications Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger endorsement issued by the state where the service is performed. Pass criminal background, MVR, drug screen, and other client requirements. Minimum 21 years of age due to vehicle leasing contract. Valid driver’s license at all times, maintain required DOT endorsements, pass annual/semiannual MVR checks. Complete Towne Park Wheelchair Safety Training course if applicable. Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate and bi‑annual physical exam as required. Work Experience At least three years of commercial driving experience or nine years of driving experience as a licensed driver. Knowledge Ability to drive manual transmission. Skills Read/write standard English. Read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, memos. Write simple correspondence. Present information in one‑on‑one and small group settings to guests, clients, and coworkers. Perform basic arithmetic operations with U.S. currency. Understand 24‑hour and military time systems. Understand rates applicable to time passed. Physical Requirements Talk or hear regularly. Sit or stand for extended periods. May run, walk, handle objects, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Visual abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, focus adjustment. Lifting up to 100 lbs occasionally, 50 lbs frequently, 20 lbs constantly. Working Environment Primarily outdoors for extended periods; may be exposed to extreme heat and cold. Protection may be provided but not guaranteed. Travel up to 5% may be required.
