DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planned, implemented, and led engaging educational activities for both children and parents in the ECFE program.
- Provide developmentally appropriate instruction, ensuring the curriculum aligns with the age and developmental stage of the children.
- Offer a balanced mix of structured activities, playtime, and parent-child interaction.
- Lead discussions and workshops to support parents in their role as their child's first teacher.
- Offer guidance on child development, parenting strategies, and effective communication.
- Provide individual counseling or support for parents as needed.
- Monitor and assess children's development and progress, keeping detailed records.
- Share information with parents regarding their child's growth and learning.
- Maintain confidential student files and documentation in accordance with program policies.
- Create a positive, nurturing, and safe environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction.
- Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety.
- Ensure that all materials and equipment are age-appropriate and well-maintained.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and administrators to ensure the program meets the needs of the children and families.
- Attend team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and engage in effective communication with families.
- Provide support to families in need of community resources, referrals, or additional services.
- Foster a sense of community within the classroom by encouraging parents to engage and participate.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the curriculum.
- Stay current with early childhood education trends, resources, and best practices to enhance teaching.
- Support positive social and emotional development in children, guiding them in behavior management techniques.
- Address any behavioral challenges appropriately while also communicating with parents to ensure consistency between home and school environments.

- Capacity to supervise students during transitions, recess, lunch, and other school-related activities, including outdoor and playground supervision.

- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is required.

- Familiarity with educational technology, assessment methods, and inclusive teaching practices is beneficial.
