We are a growing HVAC company looking for a highly skilled Lead HVAC Service Technician/Installer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in residential and light commercial HVAC systems. What You'll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, package units, ductless mini-splits, and rooftop equipment.
• Perform comprehensive system diagnostics on electrical, refrigeration, airflow, gas, and control-related issues to accurately identify and resolve equipment failures.
• Install complete HVAC systems, equipment replacements, and accessories while ensuring all work meets manufacturer specifications and local code requirements.
• Perform preventative maintenance, system tune-ups, and safety inspections to maximize equipment efficiency and reliability.
• Test electrical components including capacitors, contactors, relays, transformers, motors, control boards, and low-voltage circuits using appropriate diagnostic tools.
• Check refrigerant pressures, superheat, subcooling, airflow, static pressure, and system performance to ensure proper operation.
• Repair or replace HVAC components such as compressors, blower motors, inducer motors, ignitors, flame sensors, limit switches, thermostats, expansion valves, and other system controls.
• Clearly explain diagnostic findings, repair recommendations, and replacement options to customers in a professional, honest, and easy-to-understand manner.
• Complete detailed service tickets, job documentation, and maintain accurate records of repairs and installations.
• Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle with properly stocked tools and inventory.
• Follow all company safety procedures while maintaining a clean and professional appearance on every job site.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by building trust, arriving on time, and treating every customer's home or business with care and respect.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum 5 years of HVAC field experience (Required)
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with system replacements, diagnostics, and new installations.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in attics, clients homes, rooftops, and crawl spaces.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• NATE Certification (Preferred).
• EPA Universal Certification (Required)
• Experience with York, Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Goodman, A/C Pro, Mitsubishi, Daikin, and other major manufacturers.
• Commercial HVAC experience is a plus.
• Sheet metal fabrication experience is a plus.
