Job Description Job Description About the Role A San Diego-based transportation company is hiring experienced Class A CDL drivers for OTR long-haul routes. Routes are consistent, dispatched on a structured schedule, and daytime only for oversized cargo. Solo drivers required. Operate flatbed trucks on OTR long-haul routes out of San Diego Transport oversized specialized cargo with pilot car escort (Permits and Pilot scheduling is arranged by company) Maintain accurate ELD logs and comply with all DOT regulations Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and ensure cargo is properly secured May be required to cross US border into Mexico to pick up cargo Schedule Up to 10-day round-trip routes (~5,000 miles) Daytime driving only for oversized hauling 2-3 day home reset between trips Requirements Valid Class A CDL Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR or long-haul experience Clean MVR: no more than 1 accident or 2 moving violations in the past 2 years Flatbed experience preferred Must be authorized to work in the United States What We Offer Late-model automatic sleeper trucks — no hotel costs Consistent routes with permits and logistics handled by company Fuel card provided W2 paid weekly Pay: $0.80/cents per mile with cargo. $0.40/cents per mile without cargo Company Description BBSI provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
