Restorative Nursing Aide

Restorative Nursing Program Aide (Full Time & Part Time)

AristaCare at East Falls is seeking a motivated and compassionate Restorative Nursing Aide to join our nursing team. This position will focus on providing restorative nursing services, such as range-of-motion exercises, designed to help residents maintain or improve their highest level of function, mobility, independence, and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Provide restorative nursing programs to residents according to their individualized plan of care.
• Assist residents with range-of-motion exercises, ambulation, transfers, positioning, mobility, and other restorative programs as assigned.
• Encourage residents to participate and reach their highest practicable level of independence.
• Follow established restorative nursing schedules and care plans.
• Accurately document resident participation, progress, and services provided.
• Communicate changes, concerns, barriers, or resident refusals to the nurse and appropriate team members.
• Work closely with nursing, rehabilitation, and the interdisciplinary team to support resident goals.
• Follow all facility policies, infection control practices, and resident safety procedures.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active C.N.A. Certification in PA Required.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing.
• Rehabilitation experience is not required. Candidates with CNA and/or restorative care experience will be considered.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Dependable, patient, and able to motivate and encourage residents.
• Ability to safely assist residents with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and exercises.
