Enjoy working with state-of-the-art equipment in a high-acuity unit, with opportunities to grow your expertise in oncology and telemetry nursing.Location: Columbus, OHStart Date: 10/05/2026End Date: 01/25/2027Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00-19:30) | Night 3x12-Hour (19:00-07:30)Hours/Week: 36 hours/weekEmployment Type: Contract/LocumLicenses/Certifications: Ohio RN license, BCLS, ACLS, NIH requiredExperience: Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing, with at least 1 year in PCU/telemetryPay & BenefitsHourly Rate: $59.18/hourBenefits: Competitive pay packages, weekly pay schedule via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), robust referral bonus program, paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws, licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicableWhat You'll DoProvide specialized nursing care for oncology patients on a 36-bed telemetry and progressive care unitMonitor and interpret telemetry, manage IV therapy, and administer blood productsCare for patients with solid tumors, thoracic, and orthopedic oncologic diagnosesCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plansUtilize advanced equipment such as GE telemetry systems, PCA pumps, and Stryker bedsMaintain infection prevention and fall protocols, ensuring patient safety and comfortFloat within units of similar or lower acuity as needed, offering flexible supportWhat You NeedRequired:Ohio RN license and certifications in BCLS, ACLS, NIH2+ years of acute care nursing, including at least 1 year in PCU or telemetryProficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation, IV therapy, blood product administration, and central line careExperience with rapid response, tracheostomy management, and external respiratory supportsPreferred:Experience managing chemotherapy and chemotherapy monitoringSkills in wound care, wound vacs, and arterial line managementKnowledge of insulin protocols and advanced respiratory support techniquesPrevious travel nursing experience is a plusAbout the Assignment This role is based at a leading medical facility in Columbus, Ohio, specializing in oncology and high-acuity telemetry care.
