Job Title

Travel RN – PACU (4x10's – Days)

Location

Winchester, VA | Surgical Center

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days – Varied 4x10's, start times between 6:15 AM and 8:30 AM | No weekend or on-call requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care to patients in a surgical center setting
• Deliver PACU-level care with a 2:1 patient ratio across a 6 OR bed unit
• Care for pediatric patients requiring Pre-Op, Post-Op, and PACU services
• Accurately document patient care and clinical data using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety and continuity of care

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license – Virginia State License or Compact License required
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (AHA) required
• Minimum 2+ years of Pre-Op, Post-Op, and PACU experience, including experience with pediatric patients
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR is required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong pre-operative nursing background in a surgical center environment
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume surgical setting
