Encadria has the connections to put you in the perfect role.We currently have positions available in the following departments with assigned shift rotation:Green End – straight shift – 12 hours – some weekendsPanel Assembly – rotating shift (2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off) – 12 hoursDryers – rotating shift (2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off) – 12 hoursShift Requirements:Only candidates who are flexible to be assigned to work any shift will be considered.Candidates are expected to have reliable transportation and be at work for their scheduled shifts.This facility enforces a strict attendance policy.A Day In The Life Typically Includes:Adhering to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies and proceduresLearning to operate machinery to expected performance levelsActing as a relief operator to cover other employees' breaks and vacationsKeeping the work area clean throughout the shift to ensure a safe and orderly work environmentAssisting team members throughout the mill during production timesProviding coverage for operators who are absent or on vacationPerforming basic care duties such as preventative maintenance on machinery or repairing minor issuesBasic Qualifications:At least six (6) months of previous continuous work experienceWilling and able to work any shift, holidays, weekends and overtime as neededWilling and able to work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environmentWilling and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a dayWilling and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipmentExperience using a computer for record-keeping and documentation functionsWork cooperatively and productively with supervisors, co-workers and other associates to complete tasks, meet safety, production and quality goals.Preferred Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDAt least six (6) months of continuous work experience in a farming, carpentry, construction, or military environmentTwo (2) years or more of manufacturing or production experienceOne (1) year or more of experience working in the lumber or timber industryExperience in a manufacturing or production environmentExperience operating mobile equipment, e.g.; forklifts, bobcats, cranesOne (1) year or more of leadership experience in a manufacturing environmentEqual Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
