Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Stepdown Registered Nurse Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with holiday rotation and every other weekend required. Job Description We are seeking a skilled Stepdown Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and demonstrate proficiency in telemetry, managing complex medical conditions, and performing nursing procedures. This role requires the ability to float between similar units as needed. Responsibilities Provide nursing care to patients in a stepdown unit. Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as prescribed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans. Float between units when necessary to meet facility needs. Educate patients and their families regarding their health and care plans. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience required. Current South Carolina RN License or Compact License required.
