Job Overview

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This part‑time transitional caregiver position is part of our mission‑driven team to support participants in daily living and growth.

Pay & Schedule

Pay $17.00 per hour. Part‑time position available.

Schedule Availability

• Evening shift: Every other Friday 6pm‑11pm
• Every other Saturday/Sunday 5pm‑11pm

Driver License Requirement

This position requires a valid driver’s license held for at least one year (post‑permit) and a clean motor vehicle record that meets Sevita’s insurability policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance and support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs
• Help people grow, learn, and live well by developing meaningful relationships
• Take initiative to include participants in community and enjoy their favorite activities
• Support participants’ developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
• Experience ownership and trust from leaders to do what’s right for participants

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care or care coordination (preferred)
• Strong communication, adaptability, multi‑tasking, teamwork, and time‑management skills
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behaviors
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
