SPECIALTY: Substance Use Disorder (SUD) / Addiction Treatment / Mental Health / Recovery Support / Therapeutic Community / Residential Treatment

The Program Manager is essentially the person overseeing the day-to-day operation of the residential program while also maintaining clinical accountability.

DUTIES Program Compliance Maintain compliance with DOH licensing regulations

Participate in audits and inspections Develop and implement corrective action plans

Ensure services are delivered according to Annex A and contractual requirements Ensure safety of clients, staff and facility Ensure safety drills and inspections are completed Budget / Financial Management

Review and approve program billing Identify missed revenue opportunities Monitor program spending

Maintain expenses within budget Forecast future budget needs

Adjust expenses as needed Program Development Evaluate program strengths and areas for improvement Implement organizational and strategic changes

Support grants and special initiatives

Complete required reporting Conduct weekly clinical file reviews

Monitor treatment authorizations

Ensure timely billing Promote a drug-free environment Respond to client concerns

Monitor client satisfaction

Staff Management

Administratively supervise counselors and coordinators

Recruit, hire and train staff Conduct staff evaluations

Establish KPIs and performance goals

Address personnel issues with HR and leadership

Support staff development and retention

Clinical / Client Responsibilities

The Program Manager also maintains a client caseload and may:

Conduct assessments Use ASI/CASI and other validated assessment tools

Diagnose SUD within scope

Determine appropriate level of care using ASAM criteria

Develop treatment plans Provide individual, group and family counseling

Provide psychoeducation

Provide case management

Provide crisis intervention

Participate in clinical case conferences

Coordinate with families and referral sources

Develop discharge/transfer plans

Coordinate with criminal justice and mental-health referral sources

Maintain complete clinical documentation

QUALIFICATION: LCADC /LSW /LCSW/ LAC / LPC/ LMFT, 2+ years Social Services, Addiction, MH/BH + 1 Yr supervisory. High School Diploma or equivalent – required Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling – preferred
