Full Stack Java Developer

Purpose and Impact This team is charged with developing elements of IC geolocation product lines that address operational requirements for the warfighter. With this team, you’ll be exposed to multiple discipline areas such as UI, front-end, back-end, and/or full stack development. You will work across teams to integrate capabilities into various platforms including containers. Using agile scrum and DevOps methodologies, you’ll gain experience with the full product lifecycle for cutting‑edge geolocation capabilities. Work Schedule Monday-Friday, 0800-1600 Essential Responsibilities Perform software development predominantly using Java to create and implement enhancements to existing capabilities. Collaborate with a team of software and systems engineers in an agile environment to analyze requirements and derive user stories and issues for development planning. Perform integration and testing as needed. Test and debug software code for integrated applications. Provide tier 2 and 3 support for deployed capabilities and address bug fixes. Work individually and as part of a team. Minimum Requirements Experience with Enterprise Java development. Experience developing service‑oriented architectures. Experience developing micro‑service solutions. Database experience such as Mongo or MySQL. Experience with Python development. TS/SCI clearance with Poly. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent 4‑year SWE experience on similar‑scope projects. Twenty (20) years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Java development IDEs such as IntelliJ, Eclipse, or VSCode. Experience with agile development practices. Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence). Experience with Gitlab. Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with geolocation applications and/or JICD. Experience/knowledge of ISLANDTRANSPORT, messaging infrastructure. Basic familiarity with Python libraries for scientific programming (NumPy, pandas). Ability to read and write into/out of data structures adjacent to complex mathematics. Compensation $245,000 - $271,000 annually. Benefits Overview Health, dental, and vision insurance.
