Requirements:

• Required Certifications: BLS
• Required Skills: Adult Outpatient Clinic, Chart Preparation, Follow up phone calls, Labeling of specimens, Applanation Tonometry, Assist Ophthalmologist during examinations and surgeries, Autorefractor, Basic Eye Exam, Checking Extra-Ocular Muscles, Checking Vision Near and Distance, Clean and sterilize and maintain surgical instruments/ equipment, Confrontational fields, Corneal Topography, Filing, Humphrey visual field analyzer, Inform physician of preliminary findings, Lensometer, Measure and record visual acuity and color vision testing, Obtain and record medical history, Oct and Fundus Photography, Patient teaching regarding ocular medications, Patient teaching: dressings, Perform auto-refraction, Perform intraocular pressure measurements, Pharmacy calls for refills, Physician’s office, Place dilating drops in eyes as ordered, Prepare patient for exam and surgeries, Stocking/Ordering Supplies, Universal precautions, Visual Fields, Record History/Medications/Allergies

Job Details:

• Pay: $1434/week - $1664/week
• Assignment Length: 13-week assignment
