Our client, a leading medical device manufacturer in the greater Asheville area, is seeking a detail-oriented CAD Design Technician to create and modify patient-specific orthotic designs using 3D scans and specialized software.No prior orthotics experience is required. Training will be provided!WHAT YOU'LL DOCreate and modify patient-specific orthotic designs using 3D scansMake CAD adjustments based on instructions from clinical and production teamsPrepare digital files for carving and 3D printingReview designs for accuracy and completeness before productionAssist with production machines and 3D printersCommunicate with team members to clarify design and production needsFollow established software workflows, production procedures, and quality standardsWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORHands-on experience with Autodesk Fusion 360 is requiredStrong attention to detailAbility to follow specific design instructionsComfortable learning new software and technical processesStrong communication and teamwork skillsWillingness to perform both computer-based design work and hands-on production supportPREFERRED EXPERIENCE3D scanning, CNC/CAM, or 3D printing experienceManufacturing or product design experienceExperience in another CAD-based positionFamiliarity with orthotics or FitFoot360 softwarePrior orthotics experience is NOT required!
