As an Industrial Electrician at our Grand Rapids Bakery, you'll play a critical role in keeping our advanced production equipment operating safely, efficiently, and reliably. This is a fully on-site position supporting either 2nd Shift (2:45 PM to 10:45 PM) or 3rd Shift (10:45 PM to 6:45 AM). Training will begin on 1st Shift for approximately three weeks before transitioning to 2nd Shift for additional onboarding and skill development. Employees are expected to fully transition into their permanent schedule within 45 to 60 days. Long-term shift placement is administered through the site's seniority-based bidding process. You'll partner closely with Operations, Food Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, and Maintenance teams while working with state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment. This role offers the opportunity to deepen your PLC expertise, solve complex equipment issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that support some of the world's most recognized snack brands.
