Senior Technical Recruiter

The Opportunity We’re hiring a Senior Technical Recruiter to help build out our Engineering, Design, and Product teams at a breakout, high-growth AI company transforming how recruiting is done. This isn’t a traditional recruiting role. As a core user of our own AI sourcing platform, you’ll operate at the forefront of modern recruiting — combining high-touch candidate engagement with cutting-edge tooling. You’ll also play a key role in shaping how we show up externally through content, community, and candidate experience. This role is ideal for someone who wants to go beyond execution and become a visible voice in the recruiting space, helping position the company as a top destination for world-class talent in AI. What You’ll Do Own full-cycle recruiting across Engineering, Product, and Design roles Source and engage high-quality talent using modern tools, including AI-driven sourcing platforms Partner closely with founders and hiring managers to define role requirements and calibrate on talent Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience from first touch through close Build strong pipelines of passive candidates for critical technical roles Act as a strategic partner to hiring teams, advising on talent market trends and hiring strategy Contribute to how the company shows up externally through content, community engagement, and recruiting brand Help refine and scale recruiting processes as the company grows Continuously raise the bar on talent quality and hiring outcomes Who You Are You’re a high-performing technical recruiter who combines strong execution with a point of view on how recruiting should evolve. 5+ years of experience recruiting for technical roles (in-house or agency) Strong communicator who can build trust quickly with candidates and hiring teams High-agency and self-directed, with the ability to operate in fast-paced, zero-to-one environments Deeply care about candidate experience and quality of hire Interested in building a presence in the recruiting community and contributing to broader conversations around hiring Requirements 5+ years of technical recruiting experience across engineering, product, or design roles Proven ability to source and close high-quality candidates in competitive markets Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth or startup environments Willingness to work in-office 5 days per week in San Francisco Nice to Have Experience at early-stage startups (Seed–Series B) or high-growth companies Familiarity with AI, SaaS, or B2B talent markets Existing presence or brand within the recruiting community (e.g., LinkedIn, content, network) Interest in writing or speaking about hiring, talent, or the future of work If you’re excited to help redefine recruiting, work at the intersection of AI and talent, and build a category-defining company, we’d love to connect. #J-18808-Ljbffr
