Per Diem WeldersPay: $30-31/hr + $150 per diemContract Duration: 1-2 year to directShift: 1st and 2nd (working 15+hrs of OT/week)Per-Diem: $150/dayResponsibilitiesJoin, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials using appropriate welding techniques.Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine the appropriate welding process.Inspect completed welds to ensure structural soundness.Weld and fit various large structural steel components for NAVSEA-related equipment.Essential SkillsProficiency in using tape measures, fitting, Flux core, pulse, MIG pulse, and squares.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols with 3-5+ years of experience.3-5+ years of experience in structural fitting and welding.3-5+ years of experience in both flux core welding and pulse welding.3-5+ years of experience in converting fractions to decimals to 1/16th and/or 1/32nd from tape measures.Welder Test Requirements3G Flux Core Weld Test on a 1 in plate3G Pulse Weld Test on a 3/8th plateJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hollywood, SC.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $31.00/hr.
