Swing Shift Equipment TechnicianAre you a hands-on problem solver who enjoys working with equipment, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and keeping a facility running safely and efficiently? If you have a mechanical or maintenance background and are comfortable learning new equipment, this could be a great opportunity to grow your skills.Schedule:Swing Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM Every other weekend: Plant checksTraining:You will work day shift for the first few months to complete training and get familiar with the facility before transitioning to the regular swing shift.What You'll DoPerform preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on facility equipment, machinery, and building systemsMaintain and repair mechanical and electrical equipment to keep operations running safely and reliablyTroubleshoot sensors, switches, push buttons, and other automated equipmentPerform basic inspections and repairs on refrigeration systemsComplete preventative maintenance on material handling equipment, including conveyors and other powered equipmentUse hand and power tools to diagnose and repair equipmentUse welding equipment and cutting tools when neededOperate lifts and other equipment to safely access and maintain equipment at heightsDocument maintenance, inspections, and repairs in the appropriate systemsCommunicate equipment issues and maintenance needs to facility leadershipFollow all company and regulatory safety standardsWhat We're Looking ForAt least 1 year of maintenance experience or trade school experience, preferably in mechanical, building, MHE, or refrigeration maintenanceStrong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learnComfortable using hand and power toolsAble to troubleshoot equipment and perform preventative maintenance with minimal supervisionBasic computer skillsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailGood communication and organizational skillsComfortable working at heights and using lifts or other equipment to access elevated areasComfortable working in cold storage environments that can reach -20°F, with company-provided PPE and freezer gearAble to lift at least 50 lbs.Willing to work the required weekend rotationComfortable working in environments with varying noise levelsWhy Join Us?This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving mechanical problems, and learning new technology and equipment.
