Pharmacy Technician

Location: UCHealth Aurora, CO

Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $22.14 - $28.78 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This is a hybrid position - approximately 50% remote and 50% onsite as work dictates.

Summary: Supports population health initiatives by optimizing medication use, improving adherence, and enhancing patient outcomes within value-based care programs.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to manage medications and address medication-related issues.
• Monitors medication adherence, identifies care gaps, and supports interventions that improve outcomes and reduce costs.
• Assists with medication reconciliation, patient outreach, education, and coordination of medication-related services.
• Collects and analyzes medication adherence and outcome data and generate reports to support population health initiatives.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician
• Pharmacy Technician-State
• Completion of pharmacy technician training program or two years of pharmacy technician experience.
• Pharmacy Technician certification from Colorado Board of Pharmacy (PHAT) and Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) by Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or equivalent.
• Preferred: Experience in medication management; value-based care experience.
